WoW Hunter Macros and WoW Keybindings

If you’re looking for a way to play your Hunter in World of Warcraft faster, better, fiercer, then one thing you should consider is getting some WoW keybindings.

For A Guide to The Best WoW Hunter Macros and WoW Keybindings

Visit the LvL 86 Website Here

Keybinding WoW can present a bit of a challenge, however, so it is one of those things that noob players often overlook.

How WoW hotkeys help:

How can WoW hotkeys help you?

Consider using your computer.  Which is faster, hitting a key or two or moving your mouse and pointing and clicking?

The major speed difference is what makes WoW keybindings so effective at improving your gameplay.

WoW Hunter Macros:

Finding the right WoW hunter macros can be a massive challenge.

Hunters have to be able to control both themselves and their pets, which is why WoW Hunter macros can be so useful.

With little to no melee powers, Hunters are best known for their ranged abilities.

With powerful shots, Hunters can pick off enemies from afar.

This does make them somewhat reliant on their partners (whether that is their pet or other players) to help keep the agro off of them and keep the enemy at a distance.

By having WoW Hunter macros and keybindings at the ready, Hunters can make sure that they never get into a spot where they are unable to defend themselves.

For example, a Hunter misdirect macro can be very useful.

When soloing, applying misdirection to their pet can allow a Hunter to effectively kite and kill a mob while staying out of harm’s way.

In a group, Hunters can help the tank gain agro by applying misdirection to the tank and then continuing to use their various shots to help take down the boss.WoW Keybinding Addon

Although many players understand how keybinding WoW can help them improve their gameplay, navigating the world of wow macro commands and keybinding design is a bit offputting.

You could spend some time reading a World of Warcraft macro guide, and then you might just come up with the perfect WoW macro castsequence that you need.

Or you can find a WoW key binding add-on that gives you all of the WoW keybindings and WoW macro commands that you need.

LvL 86

LvL 86 is the first and only WoW key binding addon available that provides you with all of the WoW keybindings and wow macro commands that you need for any character.

Completely legal for in game use, and no worries about getting banned by Blizzard.

The LvL 86 program automatically provides the best WoW macro commands for you – so no searching the internet for character specific macro programs like a Hunter Misdirect macro.

Plus all of LvL 86’s macros have been tested for ease of use, allowing you to simply merge with your character and live up to your maximum potential.

The program is intuitive, working with new patches and recognizing what level your character is and what spells are available.

Just follow the keyboard templates and you will soon be playing faster and better than ever before.

LvL86 helps you immensely by giving you all of the appropriate WoW Hunter macros you need and the WoW keybindings to work them.

Hunter Arena Spec

Hunter Arena Guide: Choosing the right Hunter Arena Spec

Significance of a Hunter Arena Spec

If you are thinking of taking your Hunter into the Arena, then there is a good chance that you have been looking over Hunter Arena guides to learn more about Hunter Arena PvP, find the best Hunter Arena spec, and just generally learn how to bring on the Hunter pwnage on the battlefield. Hunters get a bad rap about being too easy of a class to play, so you can use a Hunter in Arena PvP to put those haters in their place.

Choosing a spec

Every Hunter Arena guide is going to be biased towards one Hunter Arena spec or another, but honestly, the best Hunter Arena spec depends on the type of group that you have and what your goals are as a Hunter in Arena PvP. For instance, if you want to bring on the Hunter pwnage in a 2v2 team, your best bet is to go with the Beast Mastery Hunter spec.

A well-trained pet is almost like having another player on the field, making it more like a 3v2 fight. For the larger teams, the bestHunter Arena spec that you choose will depend on the needs of your team. As a Hunter in Arena PvP, your job is to bring the Hunter pwnage while staying alive longer than anyone else. Your Hunter Arena spec, pet, and gear will help you to do that.

Finding a pet

One thing that you need to consider when reading a Hunter Arena guide is that you must essentially learn to play to characters at once – your Hunter and your pet. Setting your pet on auto attack is not a smart move for Hunter Arena PvP, particularly if it means that your pet breaks another teammate’s crowd control spell. And setting your pet on follow or defensive may not be using the most of its abilities. Make sure that you not only find a good PvP pet for your Hunter, but that you train it with all the necessary abilities to become a powerful force on the field.

In it to win it

What many players fail to realize is that bringing the Hunter pwnage to the field is about more than just choosing the best Hunter Arena spec for your team. While your Hunter Arena spec is important, more important is learning how to play your character. Many players are looking for ways to power level these days, which means that they often get to level 80 with no real concept of how their character is played. So don’t expect to throw on a couple of purples and rock in the Arenas.

One of the best things to get from a Hunter Arena guide is the macros, UIs, key bindings, and other features that will make your game play more successful. The Gladius mod is a good one for the Arena, as it allows you to keep an eye on the other team and what cool downs they have up.

If you know what their options are, it is easier to foresee their next move and learn how to stop it or counter it. Having your favorite spells bound to your keyboard will make it easier to do this.

You will also want to take a look at your User Interface. While the standard UI is acceptable for regular game play, if you want to truly bring the Hunter pwnage to the Arena you will want something that allows you to focus on the other team.

Look for a UI that allows you to see your target and your focus along with what those two opponents are targeting. You will also want to keep an eye on the rest of your party at the same time. The more aware you are of your surroundings, the easier time you will have as a Hunter in Arena PvP. Choose the best hunter arena spec suitable for your needs.

Cataclysm Hunter
Written by Chris.

Cataclysm Preview for Hunters

Hunters as a class have been a long-debated part of WoW history, with some players feeling that they are a powerful asset when played properly and others feeling like they are a character that lacks any real challenge and are fit only for noobs who don’t know any better. Like all of the classes in World of Warcraft, the Cataclysm expansion will be seeing some new changes and additions to the Hunter class. Here is a look at some of the more interesting changes to look forward to.

New Spells

Hunters will earn three new abilities as they level up to 85. Like always, certain abilities may be more useful to certain Hunter specs, and some will receive bonuses from the talent tree. These new abilities are:

  • Level 81: Cobra Shot. This spell will deal Nature Damage and share Steady Shot’s cool down. The Beast Mastery tree will give you talent incentives to make it even more effective on heavily-armored targets.

  • Level 83: Trap Launcher. This spell will replace the Freezing Arrow ability. With it, a trap can be shot to any location within 40 yards and has a 1 minute cool down but no global cool down.

  • Level 85: Camouflage. This spell allows the hunter to enter an obscured state where you will no longer take ranged damage, only AOE attacks and melee damage. If you receive or deal damage the effect will be broken, however you can move and set traps and will receive a damage bonus if you attack from Camouflage.

No more mana

One of the biggest changes that Hunters will see with Cataclysm is that they will no longer use mana for their spells. Instead they will use Focus, which regenerates itself in a similar mana to the Energy used by Rogues. Instead of being affected by the amount of Intellect it will be improved based on the amount of Haste your character has.

Other changes

Hunters will also see some other changes to their character. For starters, you will no longer have to carry around a bag full of ammunition as guns, bows, and crossbows will all do damage on their own. Any ammo that you have at the time of the conversion will be switched to a gray item and can be sold to the vendor, and your quivers will be converted into a large bag.

Pets will now be split into active and stored pets, and you will be able to switch out your active pets at any time that you are not in combat instead of having to traipse back to the Stable Master. You will only need to visit the Stable Master to switch a pet from active to stored. While you will have a limited number of pets that can be active at any one time, storage space in the stables will allow you to hold any number of your favorite stored beasts.

And if you are thinking of creating a Hunter alt, you might be excited to hear that all hunters will get a race appropriate pet at level 1. Once they reach level 10 they will be able to tame new pets.

Blizzard is also looking at making Hunters back into a ranged class. This means taking away some of the melee abilities and increasing the ranged ones. Certain Stings and Shots will have new bonuses, may affect Focus regeneration, and will be improved by your haste and critical strike ratings.

New talent trees

Like all of the other classes, Hunters are getting their Talent trees revamped into smaller, more concentrated options. Beast Mastery Hunters will have a new talent known as Careful Aim which will increase the damage of certain shots while increasing cast time. They will also have improvements that will improve Cobra Shot. Other talents will be altered to increase Focus regeneration or decrease Focus costs.

As part of the new talent trees Hunters will receive special Mastery bonuses dependent on the spec that they choose.

  • Beast Mastery Hunters will see an improvement to Ranged Damage and Haste. They will earn the bonus of Pet Damage, which will replace the passive benefits to pet damage that were originally seen in the Beast Mastery tree.

  • Marksmanship Hunters will see an improvement to their Ranged Damage and Armor Penetration skills. They will earn the bonus of Double Shot, which will allow them to shoot a free attack that does 50% of the damage of the original spell and does not affect the global cooldown.

  • Survival Hunters will see an improvement to Ranged Damage and Ranged Critical Damage. Their Bonus is Elemental Damage, which will improve their abilities of things such as their traps, Explosive Shot, and/or Black Arrow.

Patch 4.0.1 Hunter
Written by Chris.

A major stat change with patch 4.0.1 was the addition of Mastery Rating, a new stat that can be found on higher level gear.  This increases the benefit of your Mastery, a new talent that can be learned once you hit level 80.

Each class has three different Mastery options, dependent on the spec that you have chosen.

The New Hunter Spells

  • Beast Mastery Hunters earn the spell Master of Beasts.  This spell initially increases your pet’s damage by 13.6%, and you will earn a 1.7% increase for each point of Mastery.
  • Marksmanship Hunters earn the spell Wild Quiver.  This spell gives a 14.4% chance that your ranged attack will instantly fire an additional shot, and you earn a 1.8% increase on this chance for every Mastery point.
  • Survival Hunters earn the spell Essence of the Viper.  This spell increases your elemental damage by an initial 8% and then will increase this damage by 1% for each Mastery point.

Don’t choose your character’s spec just based on the Mastery spell that will become available to you, your playing style preferences are more important.
Although these spells will certainly help make your chosen spec more powerful, nothing can rival having a character that you enjoy playing to the full.
With Mastery and all of the changes to the talent trees, etc. Blizzard is making it easier to personalize your gameplay.

Reforging:

Reforging is a new skill that was implemented with Patch 4.0.1 in preparation for Cataclysm.  It allows players to trade part of one stat on their gear for another that they find more useful.

Reforging can only be done on gear with an item level of 200 or more, and costs the same amount as it would to vendor an item.
When done, you can exchange 40% of the stat you don’t want for one that you do.  The goal of Reforging is to make more gear usable by more classes, reducing the need for disenchanting or vendoring of unwanted items.

Stats you can change and those you can’t -

Any piece of gear that has Reforgable stats on it can be reforged, including armor, weapons, and trinkets.  However, only a select list of stats can be reforged and you can only reforge one stat at a time.  You can reforge the following stats:

  • Critical Strike Rating
  • Dodge Rating
  • Expertise Rating
  • Haste Rating
  • Hit Rating
  • Mastery Rating
  • Parry Rating
  • Spirit

You cannot reforge these stats:

  • Agility
  • Attack Power
  • Intellect
  • Resilience
  • Stamina
  • Strength

This means that there still may be some argument as to whether or not a piece of gear will be useful for your character instead of someone else, but hopefully more gear will be useable by more players.

Patch 4.0.1 Talent Tree Changes

Ready for the release of Cataclysm, the latest World of Warcraft patch (4.0.1) has brought about some interesting talent tree changes.  Love them or hate them, it is important to understand the goal that Blizzard had with making this radical change.

The goal of the changes -

It would appear that the talent trees were not as well thought out as they could have been when the World of Warcraft expansions were released.  This allowed there to be a lot of fluff and wasted talent points, with a complicated yet shallow design.

The ultimate goal of the redesign is to get back to what WoW had wanted originally – a concentrated tree that was easier to use but offered a lot more.
To achieve this goal Blizzard cut down each tree to just 31 points, at the same time adjusting when and how many talent points are awarded as you level.

This means that players get rid of the fluff but still get to keep the talents that provide new spells and abilities.
These changes also cut back on some of the extreme differences between PvP and PvE builds, so that any spec can go into the battlegrounds successfully and eliminating the need to spend the dual talent specialization on a strictly PvP build.

One major change that may be seen as a disadvantage to players that are used to playing a hybrid spec is that you will not be able to spend points in a second tree until you have placed a minimum of 31 points (the equivalent of level 70) into your first choice.  If you want to try out another tree then you will need to pay to either respec or to get dual specialization.

Becoming specialized early on -

One advantage of the talent trees changes is the fact that players can customize their character as soon as talent points become available to them at level 10.

Before it might have taken several levels until a character had spent enough talent points in their tree to create any noticeable difference in their game play, but now this change will be immediate.

As soon as you make your choice you will get unique passive bonuses that are otherwise unavailable to you, as well as opening up new active abilities as well.
As soon as you select your chosen roll you will start getting those role-defining abilities that allow you to play your character the way that your chosen spec was meant to be played.

Hunter Arena Guide – Hunter Arena Pet

If you want to dish out some Hunter Pwnage in the Arena, then you have a lot of work to do.

Arena is not for the faint hearted, so in order to do Hunter Arena PVP you’ll need to consider;

Your spec.

Your pet.

Your gear.

And more.

Consider this your basic Hunter Arena guide to get you started.

Hunter Arena Spec

One of the first things that you will want to consider is your Hunter Arena spec.

Which spec you choose will often be determined by the size of the team that you join.

For example;

  1. On a 2 vs. 2 team the Hunter Arena spec that is going to be most useful for you will be Beast Mastery, as your pet acts almost like another player.
  2. In the larger 3 vs. 3 and 5 vs. 5 teams the other two Hunter Arena specs are also viable.
  3. Beast Mastery works best when you want to allow your Hunter Arena pet to do most of the work.
  4. Marksmanship is a good Hunter Arena spec for Hunters that want to maximize their damage, however you’d better make sure that you have a good time because it doesn’t have the same utility and burst capabilities that Survival offers.
  5. Survival is a popular spec choice for the Hunter doing Arena PVP in large groups as it gives you the survivability that you need to stay alive on the field.

Try Arena Pwnage, My Favorite Arena Guide Here

Hunter Arena Gear

A good Hunter Arena guide shouldn’t have to mention that you will need decent gear if you want to see true Hunter pwnage on the field.

This means maxing out your stamina and your weapons damage.

A newer Hunter can do Arena using PvE gear if he knows the basics of Hunter Arena PvP tactics, but it is still strongly recommended that you gear up as quickly as possible if you plan on winning.

Hunter Arena Pet

Your Hunter Arena pet is one of your most valuable assets to the team.

A well trained and well controlled pet is almost like having another player on the field.

The type of Hunter Arena pet you choose to use is up to you, though Scorpids and Cats are popular choices.

Scorpids have the poison attack that can be quite detrimental to the opposing team and Cats have great DPS that can maximize the Hunter pwnage on the field.

Hunter Pwnage – Tips and Tactics

Every Hunter Arena guide that you read will offer you different tips and tactics.

So to maximize your Hunter pwnage you will want to read up on Hunter Arena PvP tactics as much as possible.

However, the best tip is simply to know how to play your character.

  1. Learn how to distract and kite the enemy to keep them from being effective at wiping out you team.
  2. Keep your traps up and your pets busy.
  3. Bandage when you can to keep your health up.
  4. Choose the right Hunter Arena pet and train them to the max.
  5. And be careful to avoid dumb mistakes like leaving on your Aspect of the Cheetah or trying to use Steady Shot while you are on the move.

Arena Pwnage Can Help In A Big Way

Remember, the smarter you play the more likely it is that you will win.

See you all soon

The Best Hunter PvP Guide To Pets

Hi everyone,

First off let me tell you;

If you’re Looking for the best guide to all round PvP pwnage;

Click Here To Try Arena Pwnage, It’s Helped Me Build An Incredible Hunter

If you play any type of Hunter then you must know that the class is relatively useless without a pet.

When it comes to creating a top class PvP Hunter, the type of pet that you choose can have a major impact on how successful you are on the battlefield.

Unfortunately, there is no one “perfect” pet for a Hunter in PvP play.

Ultimately, any Hunter PvP Guide will tell you that your best choice of pet will be determined by how you plan on playing the game.

Hunter PvP Guide To Types of pets

PvP Hunter pets can be broken down into three basic categories.

  1. Tanks.
  2. DPS.
  3. And all-around.

Now bearing in mind that the differences in pet classes is less than 5%, you can see that a ‘well trained’ pet can do any of the above three.

So if you are a lower level PvP Hunter you can spend more time worrying about a pet that is going to be easier for you to take care of.

Higher level PvP Hunters may also look for a PvP Hunter pet that is rare or simply looks cool.

Generally speaking:

  • Tanking pets are usually best for PvE play.
Boars and Bears are probably the most common choices in this case.
  • DPS pets are usually the best ones to select for PvP play.
Here you’ll find that Cats are often the most common preference.
  • All around pets are usually the best ones for PvP Hunters who want to work with the same pet all the time.
Wolves and Vultures are the most common choice in this particular case.

For The Best Guide You Should Visit The Official Site Of Arena Pwnage Here

Hunter PvP Guide – Some things to consider when choosing a Pet for a PvP Hunter

Besides the pet’s PvP abilities, you will also need to consider their PvP skills.

Knowing Dive and Dash are crucial to PvP play, and higher attacking speeds can make PvP pets particularly lethal against casters.

However, if you find that you use your Hunter PvP pet against opposing players and it takes a lot of damage, then you can also see benefit from choosing a slower pet with higher hit points and better armor.

Another thing to consider is the family ability that is available to certain Hunter PvP pets.

For example, Scorpids have a poison that can be quite annoying to enemy players.

Flying pets are another consideration, because their size and position can be an annoying obstruction to enemy players, even if they do not have the highest DPS possible.

Don’t forget to consider rare and unique PvP Hunter pets.

Besides looking totally cool as you stride out onto the battlefield, rare spawns and unique pets often have better attack power and speed or special Hunter spells that will make them very useful.

Just keep in mind that if you want a specific rare spawn you could spend hours of farming and camping waiting for the respawn, only to have some other player kill it for a laugh.

Good luck with your Hunter and whatever pet you decide on.

Hunter PvP Guide – Pvp Hunter Spells You Should Be Using

Check out the PvP Pwnage Here
Hey all,

If you are seriously planning on rolling a PvP Hunter, then there are some PvP Hunter spells and Hunter talents that you should be sure to include in your arsenal.

Remember that PvP play can vary significantly from PvE play, so you need to be equipped for the change.

Hunter PvP Guide to basic spells and talents

  1. Concussive Shot.

This is brilliant for slowing the enemy down so that you can continue to damage them while maintaining your distance.
  2. Deterrence.

Deterrence is great for escaping heavy damage.

  3. Disengage.

Here’s a Hunter PvP spell that allows you to gain distance so that you can break melee and resume ranged attacks.

  4. Freezing Trap.

This is one way to trap the enemy.

Freezing trap can also trigger Lock and Load to allow you to do some big damage on your opponent.

  5. Frost Trap.

    This slows the enemy down.

This one is great for keeping them at a distance when defending an area and for helping you to make a quick getaway.

  6. Scorpid Sting.

Combined with Chimera Shot can disarm the target.

  7. Tranquilizing Shot.

    Tranquilizing shot can remove;

    • Enrage.
    • Shields.
    • And Buffs

from your target, making them less effective.

Ability is random, so you will more than likely need to use it multiple times.

  8. Viper Sting.

Here’s a great way to drain the mana from casting classes. Once again combine it with Chimera Shot and this will return ‘your’ mana for PvP Hunter spells.

Hunter PvP Guide – Keeping Your Distance

Remember, the best PvP Hunter spells are those that allow you to maintain or regain your distance.

Most PvP Hunters can only do a limited amount of damage in melee combat, so being able to make the strongest use of your ranged attacks will make you that much more effective on the battlefield.

Hunter PvP Guide – The Role Of A PvP Hunter
Written by chip.

For the best All Round Hunter PvP Guide I recommend Arena Pwnage

Hi all,

lets take a look at the role of a PvP Hunter

If you plan on taking a Hunter to PvP, then it is important to understand your role as a PvP Hunter.

While, like many classes, the precise role you’ll play depends on your spec, there are some basics that will be expected of you.

PvP Hunter Guide basics

All PvP Hunters will want to focus on their

  • Critical strike rating.
  • Ranged attack power.
  • Agility.
  • And stamina.

These four Hunter PvP stats are crucial to survival in the Battlegrounds and other areas of PvP play.

When looking for your Hunter PvP weapon, look for both ranged and melee weapons that offer the highest maximum damage.

In PvP play you need to be able to do burst damage, so the DPS is not as important as it would be in PvE play.

As a PvP Hunter you also need to remember that your strength is in maintaining a distance.

This means shooting the enemy from as far away as possible so that you can avoid melee fighting.

  • Use your steady shot.
  • Arcane shot.
  • And autoshot.

You’ll be able to do major damage, and then use

  • Scattershot.
  • Freezing traps.
  • Intimidation.
  • And wing clip.

You’ll keep the enemy at bay, if you can kite the opponent as much as possible.

PvP Hunters will be ‘most’ successful against opponents with less armor than they have.

This means going up against PvP players that wear leather or cloth instead of trying to hit the mail and plate wearers.

And never forget the importance of your Hunter PvP spells like traps and flares.

These will help you to control the enemy and alert you to any stealthed enemy players that may be trying to approach.

Don’t delay, get your Pwnage on now

Hunter PvP Guide to specs

The Hunter PvP spec that you choose will also affect your Hunter PvP role.

Any of the PvP talent trees can be useful, so you just need to decide which play style is right for you.

  1. Beast Mastery PvP Hunters can use Intimidation and Bestial Wrath effectively in PvP.

Plus they have the advantage of a deadly pet that can be sent out against casters, particularly healers.

  2. Marksman PvP Hunters get many Hunter PvP spells, including Improved Concussive Shot, Barrage, Mortal Shot, Lethal Shots, and Silencing Shot.

This Hunter PvP spec works well against both casters and melee players so can be good for the PvP Hunter who wants to keep his or her options open.

  3. Survival PvP Hunters are equipped to dish out pain to their opponents through Savage Strikes, Deterrence, Counter Attack, Improved Wing Clip, Killer Instinct, Scatter Shot, and more.

This Hunter PvP specced is best equipped to go against the melee players instead of the casters, so is ideal for PvP Hunters that like to be in the middle of the action.

Hunter PvP Guide – I Got The Best
Written by chip.

Do you want to play the best Hunter PvP you can?

Hunter PvP Guide – Placing Your Mark on the Battlegrounds

Tell me that Hunters are the easy way out when it comes to playing WoW and I’ll be quick to put you in your place. Sure Hunters are one of the faster classes to level, thanks to our ability to tame beasts to do our bidding, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t have mad PvP skills. Ask me to duel, I dare you.
Click here to find out just how I got to be so good!

It doesn’t take much to realize that playing PvP on a hunter is different than running a quest or even an instance. Chances are you may want to change your Hunter PvP build to something other than what you use for questing. If you want to play around with your Hunter PvP spec and not spend the gold, WoW’s main site has all the various talent trees that you can play around with.hunter talent builds

An important thing to remember is that you are going to need some good gear if you plan on taking your Hunter into the world of PvP. A Hunter armor guide will take a look at the gear you should get and what bonuses you should look for. Of course, you should always be working towards those Tier sets if you really want to be good. A decent Hunter PvP gear guide will also look at the gems, enchants, and other enhancements that will make your gear that much better.

Get a good Hunter PvP Guide

However, making a PvP Hunter is more than just what armor you are wearing or what weapon you’re carrying. You absolutely must know how to play your character. You should also know how the battlegrounds work – trust me, nothing is more annoying to seasoned players than to get into a high level Warsong match and have some noob ask how to capture the flag. If you waited until level 80 to start PvP, at least take time to do your homework!

For a good place to start, then I’d totally recommend The Official Arena Pwnage Site

It breaks everything down, including offering a Hunter PvP talent guide that discusses the various talent tree strengths and weaknesses.

If you haven’t looked for a Hunter PvP mod or macro, this guide also looks at the various downloads you can add on to make PvP better. It also looked at one-on-one battles and the best way for a Hunter to fight against any other class. You’ve probably noticed that some classes are harder to beat than others in PvP combat, but really it boils down to how well you can play your character compared to how well the other guy can play his.

While no Hunter PvP guide can play the game for you, Arena Pwnage can definitely make it easier for you to pawn the enemy.

With this Guide I play my Hunter better than anyone else I know Check it out!

Hunter PvP Build – You need to know this

Arena – the ultimate challenge

When it comes to a Hunter PvP guide I like to start from the top and work backwards. If you are looking for the best Hunter PvP gear and the most challenging PvP play, then you absolutely have to join an Arena team. Arena teams are made up of the best of the best, and you will test your skills there.

When it comes to the Hunter PvP spec, there are two popular ones;

Beast Mastery.

If you are on a two man team that doesn’t have the benefit of a healer, then Beast Mastery is definitely the Hunter PvP talent tree you want to work with. Your goal is to basically kill the enemy before the enemy kills you, and therefore the higher amount of damage that you can do the better.

And Markmanship.

Markmanship Hunters are the type that will be most often mentioned in your typical Hunter PvP talent guide. While they can’t kill something as quickly as a Beast Mastery Hunter can, they are able to stay in the fight for the long haul. Your team will likely have you protecting the ever fragile healer and other clothies, as well as keeping control of the enemy with your traps.

If you are really new to playing a Hunter PvP, then I’d strongly suggest going with a Hunter PvP gear guide to get you started. A basic Hunter armor guide and Hunter weapon guide will give you a good starting place for the gear you’ll need to be successful.

If you are a Marksmanship Hunter, plan out your battles. Fights can be long and you don’t want to drain all your mana resources in the first two minutes.

You must coordinate with your team!

Hunter PvP guides are only going to get you so far because PvP is so dynamic. You must learn the strengths and weaknesses of your team and what role you will play.

hunter

You are a ranged class! In other words Get Back! If you want to melee fight, then you really need to roll yourself a Warrior PVP, because Hunters are useless at it. Stay back as far as possible, send your pet in, and keep launching those arrows to be as useful as possible.

See you all soon with plenty more inside information.
